Privacy Policy Statement

ADL Marketing dba ADL Marketing is a company that is committed to privacy rights. Since ADL Marketing gathers and compiles certain types of information about our users from its network of marketing partner sites ("Network Partners") as well as our own sites, we want users to fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it.
This policy will notify you of the following:
- The information this site gathers/tracks about users.
- What this site does with the information it gathers/tracks.
- With whom this site shares the information it gathers/tracks.
- This site's opt-out policy and policy on deleting or deactivating user names from its database.
- The security procedures in place to protect the loss or misuse of information.
- Notification of changes.
1. Information ADL Marketing Gathers and Tracks
ADL Marketing gathers personally identifiable and other information about users (such as name, postal address, email address, gender, date of birth, interests, other demographic information, etc.) from our Network Partners and affiliates. This information is typically obtained in connection with a user's registration on a particular site. ADL Marketing receives only information about users who have voluntarily agreed to receive offers from third party marketers such as ADL Marketing and its affiliates.
2. Use of Information
ADL Marketing uses information voluntarily given by the users of the web sites of our Network Partners and our affiliates in order to provide these users with information on products and/or services that may be of interest to them.
We and/or our marketing partners may enhance and/or merge personally identifiable information about users with data collected from other sources to use in direct and/or online marketing and, to the extent permitted by law, individual reference and look-up service programs. In the event we enhance and/or merge such personally identifiable information with data collected from other sources, we will take reasonable steps to maintain the integrity and quality of that information.
In addition, users may receive postal mailings from our marketing partners as well as periodic postal mailings from us with information on products and services or upcoming events. Users may also be contacted via telephone by us or our marketing partners.
3. Sharing of Information
ADL Marketing uses the information described above to help advertisers and third party marketers better understand the demographics of registrants of a Network Partner or an affiliate site. ADL Marketing shares personally identifiable information (including information that has been enhanced with information from other sources) with advertisers, third party marketers, and our divisional affiliates for their direct and/or online marketing efforts and, to the extent permitted by law, for individual reference and look-up service programs. While ADL Marketing seeks to contractually obligate our partners to treat information in accordance with accepted marketing practices, ADL Marketing does not control the practices of its advertisers or third party marketers.
All information provided to ADL Marketing by a user through our Network Partners or affiliate sites may be used to support our marketing data services business. These services may include the provision of personally identifiable data to marketing companies, advertising agencies, data compilers, data companies and, to the extent permitted by law, individual reference and look-up service providers. Such information may be used by such companies to provide users with information on products and services which may be of interest to them.
If users indicate that they do not want to have their email address shared with third parties for general email marketing solicitations, ADL Marketing will limit the use of their data to certain direct marketing services. These services currently include the provision of personally identifiable information to third parties to validate and enhance existing information held by marketers about their customers. For example, in the case where a marketer lawfully possesses information about a user, e.g., through a transaction with such user, that marketer may use personally identifiable data provided by ADL Marketing to add information about the user to its own file for use by that marketer in its own direct or online marketing efforts. Similarly, a marketer may use such data merely to verify or validate the accuracy of data about such user that the marketer already possesses. In addition, a marketer may use information provided by ADL Marketing to suppress further marketing messages being sent by such marketer to a user. To the extent permitted by law, ADL Marketing may provide data to be used in connection with individual reference and look-up service programs (i.e., services used primarily to identify, locate, or verify the identity of an individual).
ADL Marketing does not permit ongoing email solicitations to be sent to individuals who have opted out from receiving email solicitations. Nor will ADL Marketing knowingly share information that supports multi-level marketing initiatives or pornographic promotions or sites.
ADL Marketing does not rent, license, or sell personal data to third parties without users' specific permission except in the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets of ADL Marketing or any of its divisions as a going-concern, or change of control, in which case such data would be considered a business asset and would be transferred subject to the terms of this privacy policy. Nonetheless, users will have the opportunity to choose whether or not they want to receive further information and offers from any division within ADL Marketing or our marketing partners following a change of control.
4. Opt-out/Unsubscribe Policy
By registering with our Network Partners or affiliate sites and opting in to receive third party offers, users allow ADL Marketing and its divisional affiliates to make their personally identifiable information available to third parties in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy.
ADL Marketing provides users the option to opt-out from receiving information sent via electronic mailings on behalf of third party advertisers by our ADL Marketing division, or other divisional affiliates, or to opt-out from ADL Marketing and its divisions sharing information with advertisers or third party marketers for promotional purposes. Users may unsubscribe to emails sent via our ADL Marketing division at any time by following the instructions contained at the end of every ADL Marketing newsletter or emailing. Users may also opt-out of receiving such emails as well as opt-out of permitting ADL Marketing to share their personally identifiable information with advertisers or third party marketers for online and offline promotional purposes by following the "unsubscribe" procedure at www.deals-of-desire.com/note_unsubscribe.php. Currently, ADL Marketing does not offer users a means by which to completely delete personal data.
Information sent on behalf of third party advertisers by ADL Marketing is prepared days in advance, so users may continue to receive email from ADL Marketing for up to 72 hours after following the unsubscribe procedures detailed above. If after that point a user is still receiving email from ADL Marketing division, the user should contact us at salesdude@adlmarketing.com
5. Security Policy
ADL Marketing has created security guidelines to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of user information. Access to personally identifiable information is only provided to authorized ADL Marketing employees via a password. ADL Marketing employees are made aware of our security guidelines during our employee orientation process. Our security guidelines are reviewed quarterly based on our fiscal calendar.
6. Notification of Changes
Users will be notified of any changes to this privacy policy statement via our electronic mailings and a notice posting on the ADL Marketing home page.
